Thermo King of Houston is Now Hiring a Parts Coordinator at 772 McCarty Street, Houston, TX 77029. Responsible for working with internal and external customers to place orders, place quotes, resolve problems, and enter parts information into JD Edwards.

Responsibilities

• Use part number system to locate part numbers, pricing information, and unit serial numbers.


• Create part numbers and identify prices and brand codes.


• Interact with project managers, engineers, and technical writers to create spare parts lists.


• Provide backup for other employees in the department as needed.


• Will communicate with some foreign offices and customers.


• Will work with price margins, price quotes, and sales orders.


• Compile, sort, and verify accuracy of data information entered and make necessary corrections.

• Ability to complete assigned tasks under stressful situation.

High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) and two to four years related experience.

Computer Skills:

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook). Excel skills should be at the intermediate level.

Prior experience with JD Edwards or other ERP systems preferred.

Other Requirements:

Familiarity with quote protocol, INCO terms, and export requirements. Basic geographical

knowledge.
