Job Description:
Establish the overall objectives and initiatives of the Engineering Department. Provides engineering expertise and /or support to other departments where needed. Ensures that all engineering projects and processes are in conformance with the organizations established policies and objectives from initiated and implemented Project Management methodology. Develop ideas for product enhancements and oversee the creation and improvement of products from recorded Quality issues that involve the Engineering Department. Lead, direct and monitor the work of the engineering staff.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate engineering activities needed to process sales orders through release to manufacturing.
Lead, direct, and monitor the work of the engineering department.
Maintain and improve processes and procedures and prioritizes product improvement initiatives in the support of field and factory change needs.
Provide engineering expertise and/or support to other departments where needed.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Knowledge HVAC, Refrigeration and/or Air Handling experience.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or 10+ years of manufacturing experience.
Experience or exposure to lean manufacturing concepts.
Experience in HVAC design and component selection including fans, coils, refrigeration systems, and gas heat.
Experience with PLC programming and HMI interfaces.
Experienced with sheet metal design in SolidWorks.
Demonstrated experience in configurable product management.
Product design support in a multi-factory environment.
Excellent interpersonal and computer skills.
Physical Requirements:
