Responsibilities

As a New Customer Specialist, you will complete our award-winning, paid training to learn the skills required to be a successful member of our administrative team. You will use teamwork along with self-management to build relationships with our customers through a customer-focused lens and be a key point of contact for both PermaTreat employees and current and potential customers.

You will… 


  • Utilize strong listening skills and probing questions to identify the customer’s concern and evaluate their needs 

  • Use strong communication skills to communicate/empathize with customers, while building trust and handling objections within a conversational call flow 


  • Close pest control sales via the telephone and schedule the initial service 

  • Perform outbound calls to customers to follow-up on service received and regarding outstanding customer account balances

Qualifications

As a New Customer Specialist at PermaTreat, you must possess the following skills/requirements: 


  • Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel 

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Basic computer skills in various software and web-based applications

  • Strong attention to detail and follow through

  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required 

  • Ability to pass a drug screen and background check required

What will my work environment be like?

 

Candidates must meet physical job requirements and safely perform the job duties with or without accommodations:


  • Must be comfortable sitting at a desk and working with a computer, keyboard, telephone, and other office equipment for extended periods of time.  

  • Be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
