Key Responsibilities:
• Support / Communicate with Operations Supervisor daily to ensure production expectations are being met. • Help run the system when needed by Operations. • Report contamination received to carriers with photo documentation. • Provide ticket information monthly to carriers. • Enforce PPE and sign in/out procedure. Greets visitors to plant, contacts appropriate staff when visitors arrive. • Facilitate front office duties, ship/receive parcels and mail, maintain voicemail etc. • Enter all shipping information into reports as needed. • Maintain shared folder information for staff. • Support scale for lunch breaks, sick time, vacation. • Review night shift tasks are complete, fill in where necessary. • Communicate with carriers on updates to company policy. • Ensure weight limits are met for each outgoing shipment. • Reschedule trucks as needed. • Advise the next shift of any special instructions carrying over from day shift. • Provide training to new scale personnel as required.
