The Supplier Quality Technician plays a pivotal role in ensuring that materials and components sourced from external suppliers meet the company's quality standards. This position will be assisting the Supplier Quality Engineer to fulfill all the customer and Jabil requirements, as well as be the first point of contact when any supplier related issue is detected.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assisting the Supplier Quality Engineer in daily assignments.

Support the production line when any suspicion of Supplier Quality issues is reported.

Work with the quality technician, production supervisors and process technicians in material related containment and short corrective actions.

Verify material conformance to specifications. 
Interprets company and industrial specifications.

Coordinates discrepant material segregations.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Experience with SAP

Excellent communications skills, ability to lead and collaborate multifunctional support teams

Problem solving skills, ability to create containment and short term corrective actions.
