d-Commerce has been identified as one of our key transformational strategic choices for Mars Wrigley with an accelerated growth ambition of $1B NSV sales by the end of 2028 (representing 10% of NSV for MW US). With no 2 customer algorithms the same, and over 60 million confectionary searches on retailer platforms, the d-Commerce Customer Manager will play a critical role in winning the SamsClub.com algorithm, driving Perfect Digital Store & delivering Sam's Clubs' expected contribution to the Mars Wrigley growth ambition. The Sam's Club d-Commerce Customer Manager will be responsible for partnering with in-store customer managers, category managers, shopper marketing, digital merchandisers, and media buying agencies. This role will be critical in driving Perfect Digital Store progress and building the digital acumen of the Sam's Club team along with omni-merchants. Associate will also play a critical role in digital buyer meetings, quarterly business reviews, and JBPs with the goal of elevating the presence of Mars Wrigley brands and the resources needed to create on-line conversion.

What are we looking for?


  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related discipline

    Experience in successfully managing key account in FMCG, Consumer Durables/Lifestyle or B2B.
    Experience with the requirements of successful e-commerce.



  • Minimum of 3-5 years' experience devising and executing customer-centric plans & strategies ideally focused on omnichannel retail.

  • National or regional chain experience, familiar with all aspects of a chain's corporate and store operations, having gained the skillset to manage the chain through product category management expertise.

  • Committed to self-development and can demonstrate a willingness to operate outside of his/her comfort zone with an entrepreneurial spirit.

  • Well organized, creative, excellent time management, presentation, and negotiation skills.

What will be your key responsibilities?


  • This role is critical in driving progress against Perfect Digital Store (PDS) Program and driving the Online Growth Formula (OGF) with cross-functional stakeholders (account teams, shopper, category, digital merchandisers, media buying agencies) as well as with the digital buyers/digital managers on the customer side to close search & assortment gaps and improve taxonomy/navigation on retailer's sites.

  • Build strong annual plans, incorporate digital into JBPs & and partner in digital/omnichannel Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs)

  • Manage category basics, define, and implement clear digital business and category development strategies for the account, including planning & review meetings.

  • Build digital muscle for one demand organization (account teams, category, SDL, marketing) which includes on the job digital training, more formal training sessions, and development of various materials for the account and category teams.

  • Lead the Integration of digital into everyday ways of working with cross-functional resources

  • Shared responsibility for the dCommerce account P&L and implementation of the activity plan, including but not limited to managing online sales plans and execution, brand and corporately developed sales & marketing programs presentation on retailer sites, coordination of digital marketing campaigns and best in class product presentation with dCommerce marketing & Digital Merchandising managers

  • Maintain close collaboration with the Shopper & Customer Marketing Team along with other key strategic stakeholders to ensure the account develops a true omni-channel approach and full implementation of marketing and product development plans in line with the customer strategy.

  • Ensure national agreements are implemented and optimized as well as contribute to the development of corporate sales and marketing programs designed to meet or exceed sales volume objectives for the online partner.

  • Also responsible for various internal projects such as representing Digital on Lift Off steering committee, building out training modules, presenting at SLT, global requests, connecting with the Digital Hive and Brand teams to develop through the line content & integrate digital into brand plans, etc.
