Job Description:

Independently consults with business lines on complex issues to strengthen workforce capabilities for a high performing organization, with guidance only in the most complex situations.  Collaborates with other HR areas and business lines to execute on strategies related to talent management and succession/workforce planning, onboarding and assimilation, engagement and culture as well as leadership and staff development.  Identifies and directs solutions and interventions in support of the organization's  goals and objectives. Leads projects/project steps and has accountability for HR activities/objectives. Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience

Key Responsibilities:

Engagement and Culture:


  • Consult key stakeholders to execute the people and culture elements of the organization's mission and strategy. Coordinate identification, timeline, and resource requirements for enterprise-wide and department-specific projects and initiatives to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.


  • Design, develop and facilitate sessions/workshops and recommend and implement changes and improvements as needed. Create success measures, monitors progress and provides follow-up to ensure development solutions effectively address business and individual needs.


  • Facilitate design, implementation, and administration of Bank-wide engagement survey.  Serve as liaison with survey vendor to ensure timely and accurate administration of survey. 


  • Consult with business lines in the design, development, and facilitation of solutions and interventions that address engagement survey results.


Onboarding & Assimilation:


  • Develop, enhance, deliver and monitor programs to help new employees and leaders become effectively enculturated to their new role within the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta (i.e., learn about the Bank, our culture, values, mission, strategy as well as policies, procedures, benefits, systems, key contacts and other resources).


  • In partnership with Talent Acquisition, consult Business Lines/Departments on their onboarding and assimilation process for new or promoted employees and leaders.


  • Partner with the team to monitor the assessment of new employee and leader assimilation to continuously improve on the experience.


Talent Management: Performance Management, Talent Talks, Succession Planning and Strategic Workforce Planning:


  • Train, develop, implement and support consistent and objective processes for setting and aligning goals each year.


  • Help to support the annual performance appraisal process including training, resources, and communication as well as partner with key stakeholders to support a standard approach to performance calibrations within the business line.


  • Help facilitate, support and refine a consistent process to assess division and cross-division talent to align career interests with development needs.


  • Consult leaders to enhance succession plans and charts in support of north star goals as well as the succession philosophy.


  • Develop and support standardized processes used within each business line to plan for future workforce needs.


Talent Development: Leadership and Staff Career Development:


  • Provide performance/career consulting and coaching to maximize staff and leader contributions.


  • Manage external vendor relationships to deliver soft/hard skill development programs, executive coaching, mentoring experiences, personality/skill assessments, 360 feedback surveys, and competency models.


  • Manage, enhance, and assess high touch leadership development programs as well as experiential talent development programs like immersive experiences or the system leadership exchange


  • Continually enhance the career development framework with specific training programs, resources and coaching.   


Continuous Improvement:


  • Consult with HR leaders and business clients to identify, assess, recommend and optimize automated applications for the District's workforce talent management, engagement, onboarding and learning and development programs. 


  • Research, recommend, and apply related business industry best practices and trends to influence effective organizational development solutions.  


Education:  Bachelor's Degree or 4 years equivalent experience; Master’s or Doctoral Degree preferred (e.g., Human Resources, Organizational Development, Industrial Organizational Psychology, Learning and Development)

Experience:  Six or more years preferred
