Purpose of Job:
Refurbish and deliver batteries to dealers on a timely basis. Assist in maintaining a well-stocked and organized warehouse.
Job Components:
Deliver batteries on a timely basis and providing excellent customer service. (50%)
Load and unload batteries
Restock batteries
Charge, clean, date and rewrap rotations
Charge, test, clean, and date-adjust batteries
Accurately complete reports and claims
Qualifications:
Must have and maintain a current, valid drivers license and clean driving record
Must be able to pass DOT physical
Must be able to safely operate warehouse equipment, including forklift
Must be able to safely operate a motor vehicle
Ability to interact with customers
Ability to read, write, and do simple math.
Scope Data:
Works under regular supervision and guidance
Work Environment:
Must be able to lift 50 pounds on a repetitive basis
Warehouse environment, may be exposed to temperature extremes and battery acid
