Job Description

Provides support for funded research projects. Education: Bachelors Degree.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities will depend on the projects and may include the following primary tasks:

study and establish methods to analyze the cost and benefit of space debris removal; search and collect data from scientific literature to support the design and demonstration of the proposed methods; participate in preparation of reports, conference papers, and journal articles; write and present research/study status reports for projects and managing regular status updates in coordination with the program managers;

Qualifications:  

Eligible candidates must hold an earned bachelor's degree; Experience and interest in working in space systems design.   Demonstrated ability to work as a member of an interdisciplinary team in developing innovative approaches to practical problems and executing cooperative, multidisciplinary research is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Earned master's degree in space systems engineering;
