Job Description:

We have an exciting new opportunity within our Catering Department for a seasoned Outside Sales Manager! This individual will beresponsible for cultivating new corporate business and maintaining existing corporate accounts. Bringing all of your experience to our gourmet business, this individual will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service by accurately assessing customers needs and requests and ensuring that all events are successfully planned, prepared for and executed.

Responsibilities
Gain and maintain product and services knowledge and be able to respond to customers questions, making suggestions as it relates to services, food items, products, etc.Preparing customer proposals and event orders, detailing ordered items in each proposalWill be responsible for boking off-site events for customersAccurately forecasting projected dates to successfully complete an off-site event from loading, travel time, set up, execution and breakdownWill follow up with customers after events to verify services were met. Creating a Sales Call Calendar, will place calls to past customers for repeat businessWill be responsible for cultivating new catering business and customers via phone, email, social media, and all other appropriate business sales pathwaysAcquiring knowledge about new trends in the industry and customer preferencesPrepare weekly reports on site visits, new accounts & and repeat customersDevelop list of corporate locations to visitManage business card boxes in all locationsCreate Prospect listsCreate a sales contact calendar for all follow up with new corporate accounts and their first completed and delivered ordersEnsure that all corporate accounts receive updated menus and seasonal menusWork with Catering Managers in all locations to collaborate catering orders placed for each respective storePlan, organize and execute large events at off site locationsWill coordinate meetings with Catering Managers, as needed, to properly prepare for all Catering bookingsOther duties and functions as assigned

Requirements
HS Diploma or equivalentA minimum of 3-4 years of experience working in a Sales role with Managerial responsibilities in catering, event planning and event managementMust be proficient in MS Office Suite and all related specialty programsMust be familiar with food and beverage cost controls
Highly organized with the ability to work under pressureAble to multi-task in a very fast paced environment and delegate tasks as neededHighly motivated to learn and not afraid to make quick decisionsMust be available for travel and working in the field, with this position being outside salesDuring the high season, extended hours, weekends, nights, and holidays
