This position is responsible for proactively managing suppliers to meet customers vehicle order to delivery expectations. This includes managing relationships with strategic suppliers, including direct suppliers (truck dealers, OEM's, upfitters, transport) and indirect suppliers (upfit parts suppliers e.g., pickup toppers). The position involves working with the account team to develop the strategic order planning process, supplier vetting, selection, and supplier oversight through final delivery. This position is a high visibility customer and supplier facing role.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with account team and customer to build and order plan that delivers to the customers' expectations requires and a clear understanding of supplier capabilities.
Establish and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with strategic suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Determine key vendor performance expectations and build framework to monitor supplier performance and order status.
Identify risks/issues that will impact the order-to-delivery process and make recommendations to mitigate any risks.
Provide internal and customer facing reporting representing supplier performance at the summary and detail level.
Identify supplier coverage gaps and ensure team is focused on closing the gaps.
Lead the investigation and resolution of supplier issues and with the suppliers, which may include quality, delivery, customer service, or invoice issues, to work towards resolution.
Understand suppliers' capabilities and limitations, as well as Wheels' and our clients' expectations.

Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree with 3-6 years related business experience.
Minimum 3 years supply chain management experience
Minimum 3 years supplier performance experience
Minimum 3 years operational excellence or quality management experience
Results oriented to drive quality and customer satisfaction.
Relationship management experience
Supply chain certification (preferred)
Lean Six Sigma or other quality improvement experience preferred.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Able to use desktop equipment such as telephone, calculator, computer.
Able to communicate verbally.
Some travel may be required - valid passport required.
