Coke Florida is searching for a Data Privacy Specialist to work out of our Tampa HQ, working Mon-Fri from 8AM-5PM.

What you will do:

As a Data Privacy Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the organization's compliance with data protection regulations, developing, and implementing privacy policies, and overseeing data privacy programs. You will work closely with internal teams to establish and maintain a culture of data privacy and security.

Roles and Responsibilities:


  • Develop and implement data protection policies and procedures in accordance with applicable privacy laws and regulations.
  • Conduct privacy impact assessments for new and existing projects to identify and address potential privacy risks.
  • Collaborate with legal, Technology, and other departments to ensure compliance with data protection laws and regulations.
  • Respond to and investigate data privacy incidents, including conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
  • Provide guidance and training to employees on data privacy best practices and policies.
  • Maintain records of data processing activities and ensure documentation is up to date.
  • Monitor changes in privacy laws and regulations and update policies and procedures accordingly.
  • Act as a point of contact for data subjects and regulatory authorities regarding privacy matters.
  • Work with external vendors and partners to ensure their compliance with data protection requirements.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of data privacy awareness programs.

For This Role, You Will Need:


  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Information Security, Legal Studies, Compliance).
  • Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) certification is a plus.
  • Proven experience in data privacy, compliance, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of data protection laws and regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with privacy impact assessments and risk management.
  • Knowledge of information security principles is desirable.
