Blue Cross of Idaho is seeking a User Experience Designer who will be responsible for design, development, documentation, debugging, and support of the user interface to optimize user experience.
What we are looking for:
Experience: 2 years' user experience designer, interaction designer, or similar/relevant experience
Education: Bachelor's Degree Interaction Design, New Media Design, HCI, related field of study, or equivalent work experience (Two years' relevant work experience is equivalent to one-year college
Strong technical writing experience to communicate tech specifications
Project management and agile experience
Forward thinking with a vision
Experience with web or portal features and functions
Your day may look like:
Articulates, develops, and models the end user experience. Creates process flows, prototypes, wireframes, and/or visual designs.
Assesses and optimizes the performance of new and existing features by actively participating in usability testing, user research, and interpreting analytical data.
Collaborate in the design and creation of the user-facing components (interface).
Collaborates with key stakeholders to develop use cases and requirements.
Defines, develops, and maintains detailed user-interface specifications.
Collaborates with key stakeholders to assure brand alignment across customer touch points.
Responsible for ongoing website content and functionality administration.
Plans and conducts usability research projects, including working sessions, walkthroughs, surveys, interviews, for focus groups.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
