Description: Our client is currently seeking a Logistics Specialist in Coppell, TX
Additional notes/work hours: We are looking for candidates that can start ONSITE from Day 1. Trainings will be held in-person @ the Coppell office. Candidate also must be willing to work night-shifts (approximately 3-11pm) + OT on night shifts (as needed) - this will be after initial onsite trainings that will be held during the day.
Position Summary:
The position ensures the best in class execution for Client Packaging Operations (Fulfillment, Quality, Returns Management and Business Coordination).
Responsible for the execution of daily Logistics operations
This role will ensure that product moves through all aspects of warehouse operation in a seamless manner.
This role will actively perform Logistics operations system transactions and troubleshoot in SAP
Common Essentials/Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist 3PL in the daily execution and management of Logistics operations activity
Provide SAP Support for warehouse operations which includes troubleshooting "unique" issues that may arise on a day to day basis.
Ensure quick and precise system execution for the receipt and delivery of products for production
Coordinate and execute special projects and additional services as requested
Support inter-department projects/activities as determined necessary
Work proactively with 3PL's to ensure continuous support for optimal production and solutions
Assist Warehouses and internal customers on priorities and non-standard requests
Follow processes in full compliance with all federal, state and local regulatory guidelines
Complete all other duties as assigned
Background/Experience:
4 Year Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Supply Chain OR High School Diploma with Minimum 2+ years of warehouse operations experience
Experience with SAP
Experience in a high-volume, automated operations preferred
