EQUIPMENT OPERATOR

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Equipment Operator to join our team. As an Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating various types of heavy machinery to facilitate construction operations. Your primary goal will be to ensure the safe and efficient operation of equipment while adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operate heavy machinery such as bulldozers, excavators, skid steers, wheel loaders, forklifts, manlifts, and varying small equipment according to safety standards and manufacturer specifications Perform manual labor tasks as required by the project or assigned by the supervisor Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity Safely transport materials, products, or personnel around job sites as required Follow project plans, blueprints, and instructions from supervisors to complete tasks efficiently and accurately Inspect equipment before and after each use to identify any defects or malfunctions that may require maintenance or repair Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and the implementation of safety procedures to prevent accidents or injuries Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including keeping equipment clean and free of debris Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and clients to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth operations Report any incidents, accidents, or equipment damage to supervisors immediately Participate in training programs and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledgeMust be willing to do tasks outside of your job description as assigned
PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Employee must lift and/or move up to 50 lbs alone and up to 100 pounds with help of lifting equipment or another person Requires stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, climbing, control of hand tools, and other work associated with construction Outside work in all weather conditions
