ROLE PURPOSE: The primary purpose of this position is creating or curating brand messaging to fulfill New Chapter’s social media and other consumer-facing content needs. This requires writing, editing, and/or maintaining copy with consistency, compliance, and correct brand tone.

MAJOR ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:


  • Creates copy with a consistent, compelling and authentic brand voice crafted for our target audience

  • Creates copy for consumer-facing digital uses, including organic and paid social, web (D2C), Amazon, email, video scripts, blog posts, and banner ads

  • Creates copy for collateral print uses, including ads, posters, product cards, OOH, mailers, catalogs

  • Consults on copy needs across organization & agency partnerships

EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION and CREDENTIALS:


  • 3+ years’ experience in brand copywriting, health writing experience preferred

  • Passion for writing, words, and grammar

  • Proven proofreading and editing skills

  • Familiarity with regulatory climate relating to supplements

  • Experience handling review cycles, including legal feedback

  • Strong interest in health, holistic wellness, materia medica, and/or herbalism
