SUMMARY
Bering Global Solutions, a subsidiary of Bering Straits Native Corporation is currently seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for a contract in Olney, MD.
Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Previous Federal DoD experience
Barcoding and maintenance experience
Knowledge in electrical, HVAC, plumbing, wastewater, elevators, refuse and recycling, ground maintenance, fire protection
Qualifications

Required (Minimum) Qualifications
Three years' experience base support maintenance
Experience conducting regularly scheduled and random inspections of employees and work performed
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics
Written and Oral communication with customer, subcontractors, and internally to provide project updates
Active Secret Clearance
Valid Driver's License
Other duties as assigned

This position is not subject to federal requirements regarding Department of Transportation "safety-sensitive" functions.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work Environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be borne by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
Job is performed in an office setting / maintenance room with exposure to computer screens and HVAC / electrical equipment and requires use of a computer, keyboard, mouse and multi-line telephone system.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervising of subcontractors could be a requirement of this position.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS
As a condition of employment, you will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening and have acceptable background check results. If applicable to the contract, you must also obtain the appropriate clearance levels required and be able to obtain access to military installations.
