JOB DESCRIPTION

Be part of a team assessing and driving achievements of project specific performance within Resideo P&S. You will be the technical leader and be the primary decision maker for program cost, schedule and technical issues. You will lead prioritization of work packages, design goals and objectives, and drive overall program performance. Use your strategic thinking to help establish and implement direction for new business opportunities, products and processes. Lead and maintain an optimized program management operating system for specific business segment programs. Bring the best global thinking to your own organization and region.

JOB DUTIES:


  • Direct and Manage project execution following Resideo execution model from conception through to release. Leading cross-functional project teams, within a matrix environment, ensuring that the project goals, metrics, and objectives are met.
  • Develop end to end project plans and associated project deliverables required for the successful project execution
  • Track project milestones and deliverables against the approved baseline
  • Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion
  • Communicate Project Status at all levels within the organization
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans
  • Identify and manage project risks and assist in the creation of mitigation and contingency plans
  • Ensure that the corporate project tracking tool is kept up to date
  • Manage and Maintain project resource plan
  • Leverage project metrics to improve project execution
  • Help drive the sharing of best practices across the project management team
  • Direct and drive continuous improvement in the efficiency of NPI by identifying and recommending new approaches, policies and standard operating procedures.


YOU MUST HAVE:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a combination of education and experience
  • 7+ years of experience in a Project Leadership role
  • PMP Certified or equivalent certification


WE VALUE:

  • Master's degree in technology or management
  • Project/Program manager experience leading various NPI projects in a commercial or industrial electronic development environment.
  • Experience working with diverse teams in multiple global sites.
  • Experience working as a Project/Program manager leading multi-team software development programs with iterative, continuous delivery.
