Academic Req: Required - 4-year bachelor's or undergraduate degree from an accredited program/university; Preferred - Graduate degree from accredited program/institution.



Certifications: First aid, CPR, Emergency behavior intervention.


Work experience: Required - 4 to 6 years related experience and/or training in auditing case files and/or incident reports in health and human services, public health, or early childhood programs; Preferred - 6 plus years related experience and/or training in auditing case files and/or incident reports in health and human services, public health, or early childhood programs; one year experience with CARF accreditation.



Critical Action Items & Measurable Deliverables:



1.Monitor, audit, and provide feedback on all Incident Reports, SIRs, Grievances, and CSRs to ensure compliance with federal, CARF accreditation, documentation compliance, state minimum standards, internal policy and procedures, and other contractual requirements.


2.Provide technical assistance to program staff.


3.Provide evaluation and supportive services to programs in the residential service division.


4.Meet all federal and state regulatory guidelines and standards that are applicable to this position.


5.Participate in scheduled meetings, in-service training, and team decisions.


6.Work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed or requested by supervisor.


7.Maintain confidentiality in all areas of the service population and program operations.


8.Maintain Compass Connections professional and ethical standards of conduct outlined in Compass Connections employee handbook including demonstrating respect for agency staff, children, and community members and complying with required dress code at all times.



Other Responsibilities:



1.Work irregular days/hours, including nights, holidays, and weekends, depending on needs.


2.Frequently transverse from one location to another.


3.Meets all deadlines required by program supervisor and federal partners.



Requirements:



1.Pass a pre-employment drug screen and random drug screens throughout employment.


2.Provide proof of work eligibility status upon request.


3.Pass a pre-employment and biennial criminal background checks.


4.Strong knowledge of documentation best practices.


5.Experience using continuous quality improvement methods and tools.


6.Strong technical writing skills.


7.Ability to work with diverse populations and teams.


8.Demonstrate the ability to:
a. Respond sensitively and competently to the service population's cultural and socio-economic characteristics.
b. Communicate effectively in writing and verbally in English (Spanish strongly preferred)
c. Work collaboratively with other staff members, service providers and professionals.
d. Provide crisis intervention according to training provided by Compass Connections when needed to maintain a safe environment.
e. Work in a fast-paced environment and maintain emotional control and professional composure at all times.
f. Maintain computer literacy required to meet the responsibilities of the position.
g. Work effectively and without intensive supervision both independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team.


9. Demonstrate a working knowledge of all Compass Connections policies and procedures.
