Wood is currently recruiting for a Technical Professional II (Piping Engineer) in Houston, TX to create datasheets, specifications and technical bid tabulations following application of basic scientific/engineering principles and specific procedures.
Full time employment, Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week.
Multiple positions available

Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days a week.
Domestic travel required up to 5%.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Uses the CAD/CAM and database systems and facilities to make layouts, analyze designs, evaluate equipment systems and generate new equipment designs.
Prepares documentation, information, communications and engineering specifications and ensures conformance to all policies and procedures related to engineering functions.
Consults with other departments on equipment designs, problems and questions.
Recommends alterations to design to improve quality of products, processes and /or procedures.
Assist with product related problems or to obtain application data at the field site.
Prepares reports, correspondence, procedures, specifications and technical calculations.
Prepares technical data and papers for sales personnel, customers and publications using good internal presentation and report writing skills.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, and 3 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate related work experience.
Of the required experience, must have 3 years of experience in each of the following:
CAESAR II Stress Analysis program;
Navisworks;
NozzlePRo; and
AVEVA Net.
