Job Description:

Nature & Scope:


 


Responsible for preparing parts to be painted, inspecting parts after painting and labeling parts for movement into following area, while meeting consistent quality standards.


 


Specific Job Responsibilities & Duties: include the following; other duties may be assigned.


 


•    Prepare metal for pre-treatment, inspecting and racking
•    Hang metal on conveyor for painting
•    Remove metal from conveyor, inspect, verify count rack, and tag product
•    Assist painter as required, loading powder, cleaning booth
•    Pre-treat (chemical pre-wash) metal for painting
•    Uses required personal protective equipment
•   Assists department with other production needs as required 

    
Qualifications:


Experience


•    High School Diploma/GED required.
•    Training will be completed on the job.
