Job Summary The Compliance Administrator works under direct supervision and provides a wide variety of both administrative and overarching compliance support and services to the department. This role serves as an administrative liaison with others inside and outside the Bank.
Pay Range: $24.36 - $34.62 - $44.87
Job Responsibilities:
Administrative Duties
Responds to internal/external telephone calls with accurate, responsive and courteous customer service.
Assists with coordination of on-site visitation schedules for business partners, regulators, and consultants.
Schedules and maintains calendar appointments, meetings, travel itineraries and other events.
Creates various letters, reports, memoranda etc. for the department.
Assists with onboarding new personnel as needed. I.e., ordering equipment, setting up workstations, coordinating introductory meetings, etc.
Other administrative tasks such as: ordering supplies, resolving routine questions and queries, and processing monthly invoices.
Compliance Oversight & Support
Supports all department business unit leaders with various projects and miscellaneous tasks.
Works with BPO and the Corporate Disaster Recovery team to maintain accurate records for notification to all Compliance employees in the event of a disaster.
Manages Compliance training/certification account with external vendor.
Uses independent judgement and discretion to make decisions.
Proactively analyzes and resolves problems.
ADDITIONAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Performs special projects, and additional duties and responsibilities as required.
Consistently adheres to regulatory and compliance policies and standards linked to the job as listed and complete required compliance trainings. Accountable to maintain compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Required Qualifications:
Education level required: High School / High School Equivalency (GED, HiSET, TASC) / Foreign Equivalent
Minimum experience required: 1+ Years of administrative experience in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Education level preferred: College, Vocational or Associates' Degree (2 years or equivalent)
2+ years of administrative experience in a fast-paced environment.
Job Competencies:
Knowledge of standard office practices and procedures.
Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc).
Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Excellent administration and organization skills.
Ability to multi-task, meet related deadlines, and respond in a timely manner.
Ability to operate standard office equipment.
Physical demands (ADA): The job requires a moderate degree of physical exertion and stamina such as standing, sitting, walking, driving or infrequent lifting.
