As the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) Senior Program Manager within the AST OU at Medtronic, you will play a pivotal role in driving strategic alignment across various business functions. You will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end processes, from Product Management Review (PMR) to Management Business Review (MBR), ensuring seamless integration and alignment of business objectives. This role requires a dynamic individual with strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of cross-functional collaboration, and a passion for continuous improvement.

D ay in the Life:



  • End-to-End Process Ownership: Take ownership of the IBP process areas including Product Management Review (PMR), Global Demand Review (GDR), Global Supply Review (GSR), and Financial Performance Review (FPR). Ensure that these processes are effectively executed and aligned with organizational goals.
  • Facilitate Reviews: Attend PMR, GDR, GSR, and FPR meetings, coordinating inputs from various departments such as product management, sales, supply chain, finance, and operations.
  • Management Business Review (MBR): Drive the MBR process by consolidating inputs from PMR, GDR, GSR, and FPR to provide actionable insights to senior management. Present key findings, recommendations, and performance metrics to executive leadership.
  • Continuous Process Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency gains within the IBP framework. Implement best practices and lead initiatives to enhance the effectiveness of the IBP process.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster strong collaboration and communication across different functional areas involved in the IBP process. Work closely with stakeholders to ensure alignment of goals and objectives.
  • Operating Mechanisms: Develop and implement operating mechanisms to streamline IBP processes, including standardized templates, workflows, and reporting structures.
  • Escalations and Issue Resolution: Act as the primary point of contact for escalations and issue resolution within the IBP process areas. Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to address challenges and mitigate risks.

  • Leads or leverages cross functional teams to evaluate, develop and manage projects for key business processes.
  • Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management.
  • Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports.
  • Monitors the project from initiation through delivery.
  • Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
  • Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements


  • Bachelors degree required
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience to include being in a similar role, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years experience
Nice to Have

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in integrated business planning or a related field within the medical device or healthcare industry.
  • Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and driving process improvements.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and derive actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in IBP software/tools (e.g., SAP, Blue Yonder, Anaplan) is a plus.

The provided base salary range is used nationally in the United States (except in Puerto Rico and certain CA locations). The rate offered is compliant with federal/local regulations and may vary by experience, certification/education, market conditions, location, etc.
