TITLE:                                    UI/UX Developer


 


HOURS:                                 Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm


 


DUTIES:                                 Translate UX/UI design wireframes, designs and specs to functional code.


Connecting to backend API services.


Write and implement reusable code, libraries and design systems (such as React, IBM’s Carbon and Material Design Bootstrap).


Enhance application for maximum speed and scalability.


Validate data input before submitting to back-end.


Collaborate and manage work across multiple projects and teams.


Bridge the gap between UX design and technical implementation.


Design, build, and maintain highly reusable JavaScript, HTML and CSS code.


Demonstrate high level of skill with CSS styling and responsive design with a good eye for detail.


Hands-on experience with REACT and JavaScript.


Understand the limitations of our tech stack and business model and provide technical advice wherever necessary.


 


REQUIREMENTS:                 Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), or related.                                      


Two (2) years in any occupation in which software engineering or related experience was gained.


Two (2) years in any occupation in which software engineering or related experience was gained must include: CSS, CSS extension languages and CSS preprocessor tools; REACT, JavaScript/ES6, Web API; Responsive Design; HTML and its best practices; Code versioning tools; and Experience with Microsoft MVC and AWS.


 


TELECOMMUTING EMPLOYEE: Reports to office in Davidson, NC. Can work remotely or telecommute up to 100%.
