Colson Group USA is seeking aQuality Technician for theSt. Joseph, MIlocation.

The Quality Technician will promote a quality culture throughout the manufacturing facilities. Support plant quality functional efforts in development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives that will reduce the cost of quality and that meet/exceed customer requirements.

Responsibilities

Act as the primary contact forincoming material and products, supportingoperations quality issues from assembly area or RMA returns to implement containment actions, identify root cause, and implement corrective actions.Lead problem solving methodology (e.g. 8D, A3, etc.) with cross functional teams to identify, address and implement corrective actions using appropriate lean / six sigma tools. Act as the Salesforce case leader of customer issues forthe location and manage/support case closure for Non-US Operations.Supportlocation Operations as a team member for top systemic operation continuous improvement activities.Develop and implement local quality procedures as necessary to align the location operations with ISO9001:2015 compliance. Support implementation of Colson Group quality procedures at the operation.Support product realization activity for new product launches and change management initiatives impactingmanufactured product.Promote a quality culture through periodic quality tool training sessions with auditors.
