Executive Assistant (Legal and Compliance)

Timonium, MD



Responsibilities:



  • Provide high-level administrative support to executives in legal and compliance departments.

  • Manage executives' calendars, meetings, and appointments, ensuring efficient scheduling and coordination.

  • Prepare and review legal documents, correspondence, and reports with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Coordinate communication and follow-ups between executives, internal teams, external partners, and clients.

  • Assist in the organization and execution of legal and compliance projects, including research and analysis.

  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

  • Manage travel arrangements, expense reports, and other administrative tasks as needed.

  • Assist in preparing presentations and materials for meetings, conferences, and legal proceedings.

  • Stay updated on legal and regulatory changes relevant to the industry and assist in ensuring compliance.

  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by executives.


Requirements:



  • Proven experience as an executive assistant, preferably in a legal or compliance setting.

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally at all levels.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software applications.

  • Knowledge of legal and compliance terminology, procedures, and practices.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.

  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in document preparation and management.

  • Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred, or equivalent work experience.
