Job Description:

PURPOSE:

The purpose of this position is to support UNFI's supplier partnership programming, specifically the Supplier Go-to-Market Partnership (SGP) program. Program Manager will aid in program benefit set-up and is responsible for specific programming processes and execution. Works in conjunction with Supplier Relationship Management team and other departments to ensure benefits are executed timely and effectively.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Responsible for program benefit execution, ensuring that contract benefits are activated timely, and effectively as new suppliers are onboarded onto the program.

• Manages Natural New Item Execution program by creating and maintaining program calendar, form templates, processes, and various project management-related tasks.

• Manages Natural Void Fill program, creating and maintaining process flow, while collaborating with Category Management and Sales teams.

• Develop SOPs for the SGP program that will be related to specific programs and processes.

• Collaborates with cross-functional teams on benefit execution, process improvement opportunities, and program updates.

• Responsible for the creation and completion of training, education, and communication materials related to SGP benefits. Manages library of benefit details and sell sheets, updating as needed.

• Program Manager is the subject matter expert on SGP program benefits and processes.

• Works with Natural and Conventional Supplier Relationship Management teams to streamline processes and communication.

• Performs other relevant job duties as required.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Education/ Certifications/or Equivalent combination of education training and experience:

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field or equivalent work experience.

Experience: • 3 years of experience in business management or a related field.

Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities:

• Proficient in all Microsoft Office Applications.

• Strong communication (oral and written) skills - ability to communicate effectively and efficiently with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.

• Thorough knowledge of industry trends, opportunities, products, and competitors.

• Attention to detail, accuracy, and quality.

• Organizational and analytical skills.

• Ability to use related computer hardware and software applications.

• Strong planning skills & meet deadlines.

• Strong problem-solving skills.

• Able to successfully handle multiple concurrent projects.

• Ability to work successfully in a fast-paced environment.

PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT/DEMANDS:

• Some travel may be required.

• Most work is performed in a temperature-controlled office environment.

• Incumbent may sit for long periods of time at a desk or computer terminal.

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.

• Incumbent may use calculators, keyboards, telephones, and other office equipment during a normal workday.

• Stooping, bending, twisting, and reaching may be required in the completion of job duties.
