Team Overview:

The Program Manager - Observability will integrate and evangelize observability platforms and solutions for the enterprise applications and infrastructure KPI's across Technology Operations, SRE and DevOps areas.

They will work in a highly collaborative manner within the Tactical Operations team by working with Service Management, Application Support and other Engineering and Operational counterparts to standardize observability technologies that will collect, deliver, analyze, and visualize metrics, logs, and traces. They will work to drive adoption of these solutions and ensure they drive value for the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Will work towards ensuring our applications and infrastructure meet Observability/Monitoring/Alerting have standard KPI's across the enterprise. The Program Manager will coordinate with application and infrastructure to drive consistent observability capabilities and metrics. Will also drive automation across the Technology Operations Command Center.
  • Design, coordinate, implement and maintain Global observability solutions across both application and infra with consistent visualizations and alerting.
  • Develop and implement automated solutions to improve efficiency across Tier 1 and 2 Support teams.
  • Directly collaborate with senior management and all product stakeholders to understand business requirements for monitoring/alerting.
  • Solid Operational hygiene around monitoring/alerting tuning and optimization.
  • Process improvements for Operations (Observability / Runbook / Automation) & working with Incident Management to implement.
  • Seasoned leader who drives constant improvements to guide & mentor ECC analysts on Operational monitoring and troubleshooting.
  • Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent professional experience.
  • 10+ years of experience. Preferable 7+ years in production support for an enterprise-level platform with high-availability requirements along with a strong understanding of concept pertaining command center operations and incident management
  • Experience with ServiceNOW, Splunk and other industry standard observability tools.
  • Working knowledge DevOps responsibilities: infrastructure-as-software tools (Terraform experience is a strong plus) along with CI/CD implementation best practices
  • Ability to thrive in a high energy, high growth, fast paced, entrepreneurial environment. Willing to learn new skills and implement new technologies
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and the able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Highly-collaborate team player who can build strong relationships at all levels of the technology and business organizations
