Essential Job Responsibilities:
Build a strong relationship with other accounting team members and internal partners throughout the resortEntering daily revenue into the general ledgerEstablishing internal audit proceduresManage the credit card chargeback process; in addition to reconciling credit card payments in-transitReconcile deferred revenue accounts and ensure accuracy of all revenue postingsManage seasonal Revenue Audit Clerk when applicableAbility to exercise discretion and independent judgment on matters related to auditing and other accounting functionsReliable attendance on all scheduled workdaysOther duties as assigned

Qualifications/Knowledge:
Bachelors of Science in Accountancy (preferred)Bachelors degree in other areas of business or Associates in Accountancy (preferred)Experience in the ski industry (preferred)Experience in an accounting environment (preferred)Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.'

Work Environment:
Taos Ski Valley, Inc. is often a fast-paced work environment, especially during Holiday and Peak days. TSVI is located in a high-altitude alpine environment. Position may require travel on uneven, snow-packed, or icy terrain and may be exposed to wet, cold, and/or humid conditions. Must be able to work in close quarters and with other staff.

Physical Demands of Position Include:
Requires ability to work on a computer for extended periods (+8 hours per day)Ability to lift boxes for filing purposes (up to 50 lbs.)+90% of time spent sitting
