We are currently seeking a well-qualified candidate for the position of Sales and Marketing Director as a remote position, located in the Eastern or Central US time zones. As the Sales and Marketing Director, you will be responsible for sales growth, ownership of new business prospecting and for supporting existing Amphenol IPC (AIPC) business. This position works closely with a number of different AIPC functions to identify, develop, and capture business opportunities worldwide. The successful candidate for this position will be a change agent with a high degree of accountability who can dynamically lead a team. This position reports directly into the General Manager and is a core member of AIPC Executive Leadership. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: LEADERSHIP: Model and reinforce the company's culture, mission, vision, and core values Contribute to the development of the organization's strategic plan, goals, and objectives as well as the overall management of the organization Build strong relationships and lead through influence with leaders of teams across the organization Bring teams together to foster collaboration, improve decision-making, and maximize opportunities Develop, mentor, and coach an effective and high performing Sales and Marketing Team SALES & MARKETING Direct and manage the Sales and Marketing of AIPC products and services to drive market share and revenue growth Directly responsible for leadership of Business Development, customer service, and program management teams Develop and maintain favorable relations with key and emerging customers Further develop and execute AIPC's customer and market diversification strategy Manage the quoting and pricing processes. Establish priorities and effectively screen new business opportunities to ensure alignment to company strategy and operational capabilities. Develop competitive analyses and pricing strategies to win majority market share across the industry Direct cross-functional meetings with customers, sales, business development managers, operations, and engineering Identify product gaps related to customer opportunities and communicate these back through the engineering team for development Negotiate quarterly, semi-annual, and annual contracts with customers Determine AIPC's annual marketing efforts including market communications, website, SEO, social media, trade shows, etc. Provide monthly/quarterly/annual sales forecasting for company reporting and operations planning Develop annual strategy and budget expectations QUALIFICATIONS BS Degree in engineering or business-related discipline, MBA preferred 10+ years' relevant experience with working knowledge of Sales and Marketing in Electrical/Electronic Manufacturing Demonstrated strong leadership skills with the ability to manage, teach, train and motivate others Ability to thrive in a fast paced, high growth industry; willing to be hands-on and take initiative Solid presentation, interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to interact well with customers Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and cross-cultural teams at various locations Assertiveness and enthusiasm. Must have a high level of energy and competitiveness, balanced with a collaborative, team-centric approach Travel is required, both domestic and international SKILLS Results-driven mindset Achievements indicating strong financial, leadership, and business management skills Comfort working with multiple levels of the organization and with all functional groups Strong interpersonal skills. Instinctively collaborative and team-oriented Proficient in MS Office Suite and aptitude for learning specialized software programs Amphenol offers a competitive salary and benefits.
