Job Title: Cook

Job Description: We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Cook to join our team at Tiburon Hills Care Center. The Cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking delicious and nutritious meals for our residents, following all dietary guidelines and restrictions. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking and a strong commitment to providing high-quality meals that meet the diverse needs of our residents.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus, ensuring that all dietary guidelines and restrictions are followed


• Ensure that food is prepared and served in a timely manner, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation


• Monitor food supplies and ingredients, ordering and restocking as needed


• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, following all safety and sanitation procedures


• Collaborate with dietary staff to develop menus and meal plans that meet the nutritional needs and preferences of our residents


• Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines, including proper food storage and handling procedures

• Proven experience as a Cook in a healthcare or senior living setting preferred


• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and methods


• Ability to follow recipes and dietary guidelines accurately


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


• Ability to work effectively as part of a team


• High school diploma or equivalent


• Culinary certification or degree preferred
