Valparaiso University invites applications for the position of Lecturer in the Department of Computing and Information Sciences in the College of Arts and Sciences (https://www.valpo.edu/college-of-arts-and-sciences/) to begin in Fall 2025. We are seeking a candidate with a Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related field, but A.B.D. candidates will be considered. Courses to be taught are chiefly at the undergraduate level and the successful candidate will teach introductory level courses and courses in their area of expertise. The typical teaching load is 4-4. Responsibilities beyond teaching focus on departmental business, including advising, curricular review and development, student recruitment, and good campus citizenship.
