This is an on-site position in North Kingstown, RI USA.

Position Summary

Thales is seeking a Machine Operator for full time employment in Kingstown, RI for a 3rd shift role. As a Machine Operator, you will operate various card production equipment to personalize debit/credit cards according to customers’ specifications. Work with other operators, technicians, and supervisory staff to achieve daily / monthly goals. Perform minor equipment maintenance and adjustments per written and oral instructions. Work independently, performing quality inspections on own work according to production standards. Identify potential production and quality problems, recommending remedial, corrective or contingency action. Awareness and compliance with all security and production policies & procedures.

Key Areas of Responsibility:


  • Operate card production equipment and perform related activities.


  • Confirm work receipt.


  • Formulate and implement work priority decisions.


  • Perform minor equipment maintenance and adjustments per written and oral instructions.


  • Work independently performing quality inspections on own work to production standards.


  • Identify potential production and quality problems; recommending remedial, corrective or contingency action.


Minimum Qualifications:


  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience.


  • Basic computer skills.


  • Basic math skills required.


  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.


  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.


  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
