We are looking for a new Operations Manager who will own all aspects of production in our Mexia, TX facility. You will e nsure that production is carried out efficiently, within budget, and to high quality standard. Plan and coordinate production activities and maintenance of company assets. Establish production priorities while keeping effective operations and cost factors, utilizing knowledge of product technology, production methods and procedures, and capabilities of machines and equipment. Continuously strives to improve all aspects of safety, quality, delivery, cost, and engagement.

Operations Manager Salary: $89,000 - $110,000 depending on experience

  • Acts as the primary point of contact for the plant.
  • Lead approximately 15 manufacturing associates and e nsure production needs and quality standards are met.
  • Develop an environment of high employee engagement. Coach and develop teammates so they know how to do their jobs efficiently, safely, and have confidence that they know what they're doing.
  • Provide regular communications so the team knows what's going on and what is coming down the road.
  • Drive overall accountability for plant safety and implementing related improvement initiatives.
  • Identifying problems in the production process and implementing solutions to improve efficiency and quality.
  • Organizes and coordinates manufacturing to minimize waste wherever possible.
  • Manage overall product quality, ensuring quality standards are met and continuous improvement initiatives are in place and procedures are followed along with on-time deliveries.
  • Work with Production Planning to plan and schedule requirements for the plant and follows-up performance against estimates.
  • Ensure Standard Work documentation is up-to-date and followed. This includes taking actions to correct routine audit deficiencies and customer quality complaints.
  • Provides input to the annual budget and capex and responsible for their execution.

Essential Experiences:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry work experience
  • 5+ years of people leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience using Microsoft Office and an ERP
  • Experience with Lean manufacturing
