SUSTAINABLE AND RESILIENT SOLUTIONS PRACTICE

Sustainable and Resilient Solutions (SRS) is a business entity within Michael Baker International. The SRS focuses on MEP+ Building Engineering Services with a focus on Energy and Water Conservation, Carbon Neutrality, Resiliency, and Distributed Energy Projects.

Job Summary

Under general supervision, responsible for complex analysis and interpretation of financial performance, including project analysis, contract administration, and cost tracking.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities


  • Manage all aspects of the invoicing and accounts receivable process including, identifying process improvements, preparing invoices for review and delivery to the client, analyzing payment performance and guiding actions needed to ensure prompt collections on outstanding invoices.
  • Manage project set up process in Vantagepoint. Ensure billing terms
  • Determine billing terms in Deltek Vantagepoint to use later for invoicing client(s) both for new projects and additional services
  • Lead the contract management process. Ensure all existing work has a contract and / or purchase order attached to it in Vantagepoint. Assist with execution of contract(s), purchase order(s) when needed.
  • Own billing relationship with subconsultants. Review invoices to confirm payments. Communicate with subconsultants to ensure timely billing.
  • Manage accounts payable process. Identify process improvements to make accounts payable process more efficient, collaborate with CFO to ensure proper payments are made, deliver payments to vendors and expense reimbursements to employees
  • Ensure accuracy of employee benefit invoices
  • Audit contracts, orders, and vouchers, and prepares reports to substantiate individual transactions prior to settlement.
  • Determines proper handling of financial transactions and approves transactions within designated limits.
  • Monitors compliance with company procedures.
  • Reviews, investigates, and corrects errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents, and reports.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Experience

  • 7-10 years of related experience.

Education

  • Four-year degree

COMPENSATION
The salary range for this position is $103,000 to $162,000 annually. This will be dependent on the experience and expertise of the incoming candidate.
