Cranial and Spinal Technologies (CST) is redefining cranial and spinal procedures to reduce variability and improve outcomes with the goal of restoring long-term quality of life for more patients. We are the first company to offer an integrated solution that includes artificial intelligence-driven surgical planning, personalized spinal implants, and robotic-assisted surgical delivery to make patient care more customized.

CST is the market leader in spinal implants, robotics, and navigation. Our integrated operating unit is comprised of 4 global businesses, Spine and Biologics, Enabling Technologies, intelligent Data Solutions (iDS) and China Cranial, Spinal, Orthopedics & Technologies.

A Day in the Life

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.


  • Develops, maintains, and enhances the company's image with thought leaders/high profile individuals and/or groups.
  • Organizes company-sponsored symposia for consultant and advisory board meetings.
  • Develops, fosters and maintains key customer relationships with healthcare professionals, and surgical and medical society organizations strategically aligned with the business to increase market access and development opportunities and to aid in the education of other healthcare professionals.
  • Drives loyalty to Medtronic CST technology solutions and services through consistent, connected relationship management across US.
  • Promotes diversity and inclusion in CST KOL relationships and engagements.
  • Deepens customer perspective and participation throughout programs, engagement opportunities.
  • Leads innovative strategies and develop customer insights to become the industry standard for young surgeon development (deliver agile, enhanced approach).
  • Drives portfolio and operating unit strategy through key health system partnershipsfocusing on clinical research, medical education/young surgeon programs, and innovation collaboration.
  • Provides insights to key stakeholders across the business to inform and develop impactful strategies.
  • Develops strategies and programs supporting young surgeon development (program content consultation, program design consultation and input, etc.).
  • Develops surgeon handoff program to coordinate connections between surgeons leaving fellowships and/or changing locations to the local teams.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

To be considered for this role, please ensure the minimum requirements are evident on your applicant profile.


  • Bachelors degree with a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience with 10 of those years being managerial experience; or
  • An Advanced degree with a minimum of 13 years of relevant experience with 10 of those years being managerial experience.

  • Demonstrated strategic leadership and success in the Spine & Cranial market
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration
  • Strong program development, communication, and relationship building skills (internal and external customer engagement)
  • Deep knowledge of Spine & Cranial market, surgeons, surgical techniques, and products

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
