Position Overview:
The Superintendent is directly responsible for planning, scheduling, coordinating, and directing field activities on projects in South Carolina. The Superintendent must be able to work independently as well with other project team members and subcontractors. This is a managerial position that reports to the Project Manager. Will also work with Sr. Project Manager, Assistant Project Manager, and General Superintendent.

Essential Duties and Key Responsibilities:
Directly responsible for day-to-day supervision of project siteHelps establish safety plan and is directly responsible for project safetyConduct on-site meetings with subcontractors, owners and tradesmenDirectly responsible to maintain discipline at jobsite. (Has the authority to dismiss FHP field and/or field hourly personnel (such as Temp. Labor or Cleaning Services) not complying with established procedures.)Coordinates material deliveriesHelp to establish and enforce quality control plan (plans, specs and local building codes)Ensure proper job sequencingLiaison with owner occupantMaintains project documentation to include daily reports and jobsite photosMonitors subcontractors progressCollaborates on preparation of CPM schedulesPrepares 3 week look ahead schedulesImplement schedule to meet project completion datesProduce / submit request for informationResolve field conflictsSupervise Company field labor and wage per hour employees hired from a third partySupervise Subcontractor activitiesMaintain as-built drawingsIdentify documents for potential change orders and back chargesMust report to various work locations as assigned
