Job Description:

We are currently looking to add a Microbiology Production Laboratory Technician I to our team in St. Cloud, MN. In this role, you will be responsible for Responsible for manufacturing of microorganism product line.

What can I expect in this role?
In this position, you will work 7 am 4:00 pm Monday thru Thursday, and 7:00 am 1:00 pm on Friday.

Some key duties in this role include:
Propagate, subculture, and harvest microorganisms as assigned by the Micro Production Laboratory Manager/Supervisor or Micro Production Scheduler. Verify protocol information. Load, unload, and perform daily monitoring on lyophilizers. Dislodge pellets after lyophilization. Perform Post-QC Processing and distribution of Released Product Lots. Assist on training new team members as directed by the manager/supervisor or lead Perform maintenance according to the General Maintenance Schedules when applicable. Inform the manager/supervisor or lead on the status of production, effectiveness of the quality management system and assessing opportunities for improvement, the need for changes and to ensure customer satisfaction. Perform and document that specified production, labeling and storage functions and activities are recorded on each DHR and comply with the provisions contained within the DMR. Fill out applicable production documents. Collaborate and communicate on a regular basis with other production team members and members of other functional areas. Maintain accurate inventory counts.
