The Impact You'll Make in this Role

As a laboratory technician, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Lead technician responsible for performing lab scale reactions on two types of acrylate polymerizations. This is for both new products and/or for the re-qualification of existing products.


• Implements existing test methods to perform analysis on both solution and coated film properties.


• Determines sample properties and whether the performance is correct and accurate. Record and report those results back to the product developer/chemist.


• Supports product developers by actively engaging in communication related to testing and results, equipment issues, and workload progress.

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in a science related discipline

• High School Diploma/GED from AND (7) years of (the same job-related experience)

AND

In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:

• Experience with PSAs (pressure sensitive adhesives) either in chemical synthesis or physical property testing

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• A degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Material Science


• Chemical synthesis experience


• Polymer synthesis experience


• Chemical characterization experience

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $73,090 - $89,333, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
