Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Process Engineering Technician located in Austin, TX.

Reporting to the Process Engineering Supervisor, the Process Engineering Technician performs technical tests and experiments for process engineering.

Shift Schedule: 6:00PM - 6:30AM Wed, Thurs, Fri, and every other Sat

What a typical day looks like:

• Work in ISO level 8 cleanroom environment.


• Perform set-up of processing equipment.


• Monitor, audit and provide guidance to line operators and maintenance personnel


• Process test runs and prepare records, charts, and graphs of results for presentation to engineering to identify yield problems or test new products.


• Provide technical assistance to process development and engineering personnel.


• Line change configuration.


• Perform and assist with corrective maintenance and yield improvement activities


• Follows escalation procedures.


• Work with cross functional teams interfacing with different departments like Operations, Quality, etc…


• Troubleshoot manufacturing process issues in a timely manner.


• Comfortable working in a high-pressure, dynamic environment.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• Associate’s Degree in related field, technical training or equivalent education and training. Electrical, Mechatronic, Automation, Mechanical, or Industrialconcentration is preferred.


• 6+ years of related experience supporting automated production equipment.


• Experience in technical writing to support change control and  quality/compliance activities


• Setup, operation and maintenance of industrial equipment


• Electro-Mechanical Knowledge, Electrical schematics, Mechanical drawing and dimensional annotation comprehension.


• Ability to understand and interface with various Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs)


• Ability to work with complex industrial mechanical assemblys in an automated environment.


• Ability to troubleshoot network and serial communications in equipment


• Experience working in a regulated industry (Medical, Pharmaceutical, Aerospace, or Automotive), with compliance to FDA, NHTSA, FTC, ISO or other regulatory requirements.
