JOB SUMMARY:

The Integrity Team Leader is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing integrity practices within Paragon's Background Investigations Program. The Integrity Team Leader (ITL) oversees the intake, assignment, investigation, and resolution of all complaints and concerns. The ITL will be responsible for managing their team of Integrity Assurance Analysts to ensure timely, thorough, investigations and resolutions to meet customer expectations and contractual obligations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  1. Oversight of program related integrity assurance (IA) and the IA team.

  2. Lead a team of Integrity Assurance Analysts responsible for investigating concerns and complaints and providing complete and thorough investigative results.

  3. Oversight and investigation of all concerns and complaints, to include assignment to Integrity Assurance Analysts, investigations, samplings/rework, resolution, and customer communication.

  4. Regular communication with customers regarding questions, concerns, status, and resolution of any matters relating to integrity.

  5. Investigation and reporting of all compromises and losses of PII and GFE for all contracts.

  6. Investigation and reporting of all potential classified spills for all contracts.

  7. Ensure all training is up to date, accurate, and includes a comprehensive overview of Integrity.

  8. Investigate and resolve instances of quality concerns, misconduct, and/or integrity issues throughout the BI program.

  9. Stay abreast of policies, standards, and regulations that directly impact the conduct of background investigations.

  10. Work closely with Security, Training, and Field and Review Leadership to develop, implement, and maintain integrity policies and adherence.

  11. Other duties as assigned


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AT ENTRY

Additional qualifications may be specified and receive preference, depending upon the nature of the position .


  • Must be a citizen of the United States.

  • At least 18 years of age.

  • Must possess current (within the last 2 years) Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) or active Secret level security clearance based on an SSBI.

  • Ability to acquire and maintain any other specific special clearances/access requirements.


Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum of three (3) years within the last ten (10) years of investigations experience at the federal, state, or local level of government

  • Minimum of five (5) years background investigation work experience, leadership experience preferred.

  • Background and experience with Integrity Assurance.


Background Prerequisites

Must undergo and meet company standards for background and reference checks, controlled substance testing, and behavioral selection survey, in addition to any mandatory licensing requirements.

Education/Experience:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent is required. Additional relevant experience can be substituted for the required education on the basis of one calendar year of experience for one academic year of education.

Wage range for this position is $65,000-$75,000.
