JOB SUMMARY

The Integrity Analyst leads Investigations into potential issues/concerns that arise with the Investigative staff while conducting background investigations. These issues can be developed either internally or provided by external means. The Integrity Analyst will work with various functional areas of the business to obtain accurate and complete information which lead to a clear understanding of what took place. The Integrity Analyst will also assist in the completion of contract compliance inspections and provide results of the findings to appropriate areas for resolution. Thorough report writing will be needed for all submissions and the ability to effectively communicate the findings to all parties is a must. Extensive understanding of the investigative process is needed to provide remedies to the situations discovered in an effort to provide recommendations and preventative measures to prevent future concerns.

Distinguishing Characteristics:
The Integrity Analyst will be responsible for conducting investigations into investigative personnel and completing compliance inspections. This will encompass reviewing reports of investigation completed by investigative personnel, contacting sources that are contained within reports of investigation, finalizing reports that will be submitted to the Government, open communication with internal leaders, investigative personnel, and to the customer, and possess a clear understanding of investigative and compliance functions. Characteristics of the position include effective communication skills, detail oriented, and ability to effectively lead projects through initiation to final approval from the customer.

  1. Investigate concerns and complaints and provide complete and thorough investigative results.

  2. Effectively communicate to both internal employees and external sources.

  3. Ability to elicit details surrounding the concern and express the facts obtained thoroughly.

  4. Provide training and guidance to investigative personnel.

  5. Thorough understand of contract requirements and effectively communicate gaps to functional areas.

  6. Other duties as assigned.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AT ENTRY

Additional qualifications may be specified and receive preference depending upon the nature of the position

Basic Qualifications


  • Must be a citizen of the United States

  • Must possess a current (within the last 2 years) Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) or active Secret level security clearance based on an SSBI.

  • Ability to acquire and maintain any other specific special clearances/access requirements


Education/Experience

  • Three years' experience in Federal background investigations and knowledge of Federal background investigation process to include thorough understanding of rules and regulations governing Federal security clearance background investigations, or combination of education and experience.

  • Must be able to successfully complete and pass all required training.


Background Prerequisites

Must undergo and meet company standards for background and reference checks, controlled substance testing, and behavioral selection survey, in addition to any mandatory licensing requirements.

  • Ability to adapt quickly to program and customer operations, analytics, and requirements.

  • Thorough knowledge of background investigations policies and procedures.

  • Strong communication, writing, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to continuously self-educate and adapt to the changes in the personnel security industry.

  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision.

  • Ability to think strategically, synthesize business/financial data, develop innovative solutions, and promote legal and ethical practices.

  • Thorough understanding of standard office procedures and practices.

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret various internal and external documents and reports.

  • Excellent planning and organizing skills.

Wage for this position is $29.50/hour.
