PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position requires a Class 1 CDL drivers license and the ability to operate a low bed truck.



PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:

1. Heavy truck operation requirements used in support of the Construction operations



QUALIFICATIONS:




  • Experience moving construction equipment is REQUIRED.
  • Job consists of moving construction equipment, including safely loading, unloading and hauling the equipment to its destination throughout CT and New England.
  • Must understand overweight routing as most of our loads require overweight permits.
  • Possess an understanding of the operation of various pieces of equipment, sufficient to load/unload from the transport vehicle.
  • Ability to perform strenuous work in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Ability to perform all job duties in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Ability to perform work in daytime and nighttime conditions


PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT:

Employees are required to wear personal protective equipment in designated operations and construction areas as outlined by OSHA and state agencies. Protective equipment that is required for this position: Hardhat, safety glasses, reinforced toed shoes, hand protection, safety vest/high visibility clothing for any work in the field. Hearing protection.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
