What you will enjoy doing*


  • You will ensure that the right product is developed and delivered to meet Company's quality standard, and contract requirements, as well to utilize project management methodologies, system and tools as defined by Company

  • Also, you will understand the project schedule and work with the shop planner to develop a production schedule that supports the requirements of our customer is part of your role

  • Further, you will track project against its schedule and budget, reporting status to management and customer on a regular basis, and executive staff on an as needed basis

  • In this role you will develop and implement recovery plans for off-schedule and unanticipated eventualities

  • You will also prepare periodic management and/or customer reports and presentations

  • You will review and verify monthly project completion estimates (EAC's) as it is required

  • You also will manage project budget and controls expenses effectively, as well to obtain information to enter Lessons Learned into the company database by conducting meetings and interviews with appropriate shop personnel

  • Additionally, you will recognize customer complaints and work with shop QA manager to document and resolve complaints

  • You will need to understand the basics of lean manufacturing and recommend improved processes where needed to improve quality or on-time delivery

  • Additionally, you will develop outsourcing plans when project requirements exceed shop capacity

  • Further, you will participate / facilitate / conduct in root cause analysis, kaizen events, and internal shop safety and environmental audits as required


What makes you great


  • You will have a BS/BA or equivalent combination of education and experience, as well as minimum 5 years industrial related project management or supervisor experience

  • PMP certification is preferred for this role

  • You will also possess a broad understanding of each fabrication discipline

  • Additionally, you have effective leadership and facilitation skills

  • You have effective computer skills in Microsoft Office Software, and other Company and discipline specific software applications
