Job Description:


  • Conduct deposit verifications and/or change order preparation using specialized counting equipment and procedures.
  • Separate currency, coin, and/or check deposits received from bank, ATM, and/or commercial customers, providing accurate count by denomination.
  • Prepare currency and/or coin change orders by denomination for each customer assigned. Maintain a balanced currency and/or coin inventory.

Responsibilities:

  • Assign work in line with Loomis and Client flow requirements to meet deadlines.
  • Assist CMS Supervisor in driving accuracy and production of CMS Tellers.
  • Provide guidance and mentoring to CMS Tellers to meet production goals and standards.
  • Assist in balancing the vault as needed.
  • Identify all discrepancies upon awareness, alert supervisory staff, and conduct immediate search for resolution.
  • Always keep deposit and order currency and/or coin secure at the workstation and in the vault at the end of the shift/day.
  • Make sure all paperwork is delivered to the Balanced/Auditors Desk.
  • Ensure holdover has been checked in properly.
  • Make sure all computers, validators, machines, air conditioner and lights are turned off at the end of the shift.
  • Check floor after all items have been sold to the vault/transportation.
  • Make sure room is clean and tidy, and teller trash is removed from the cash room.
  • Ensure all paperwork is filed.
  • May be required to perform other duties as assigned by supervisory staff.

Requirements:

• Ability to read, count, add, subtract, write and record numbers

• Ability to perform simple computer data entry

• Ability to use calculator by touch

• Ability to bend, squat, stoop, stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs., sit, push and pull

• Unrestricted wrist, hand and finger dexterity

Working Conditions:


  • Work is performed in a room or work area within a vault with little or no exposure to outside light. The workspace is heated in winter, air conditioned in summer (68-72 degrees).
  • Work is performed primarily from a standing position in front of a 3.5 - 4-foot-high counter. Full time work consists of an average of 36-40 hours per week performed in 8-hour shifts.

Essential Functions/Job Qualifications: As part of the qualification process for the Cash Management Services Lead position, a Human Performance Evaluation (HPE) is required. This evaluation requires successful completion of testing in the following areas:



  • Lift: - 2lbs vertical lift from 36 inches to 52 inches from the floor (15X)
    - 25lbs vertical lift from 8 inches to 33 inches from the floor (1X)
    - 18lbs vertical lift from 1 inch to 36 inches from the floor (5X)
    - 2lbs vertical lift from 7 inches to 62 inches from the floor (17X)

  • Lift-Carry:
    - 30lbs vertical lift from 8 inches to 40 inches from the floor, and horizontally transfer 10ft (1X)

  • Push-Pull:
    - Horizontally transfer 47lbs of force on a sled (single, non-dominant arm), a distance of 1ft (1X)

  • Repetitive Coupling:
    - Squeeze Jamar Hand Dynamometer requiring forces up to 30lbs / both right & left hands (17X each)
