A Day in the Life

As the Sr. Quality Systems Manager, you will:

• Lead a manufacturing site to excellence in product quality, operational excellence, and a culture of putting patients first.

• Drive the combined Quality and Global Operations and Supply Chain (GO&SC) strategies to deliver results.

• Interact with and influenceleaders across multiple leadership teams(Core Quality, Operating Units, and GO&SC).

• Provide oversight for the development and maintenance of quality programs, systems, processes and procedures that ensure compliance with policies and that the performance and quality of services conform to established internal and external standards and guidelines

• Lead audit and inspection preparation, resolution of audit and inspection findings and liaise with auditing groups and inspectors through all stages of the audits

• Facilitate uniform standards worldwide and enable best practice sharing, thereby fostering the achievement of Medtronic's mission globally

• May develop, evaluate, implement and maintain technical quality assurance and control systems or reliability systems and standards pertaining to materials, techniques, or company products.

• Work directly with operating entities to provide process analyses oversight on a continuing basis to enforce requirements and meet regulations.

• Organize the coordination of activities with outside suppliers and Supplier Qualityand consultants to ensure timely delivery.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements


  • Bachelors degree required and minimum of 7 years of relevant quality experience with 5+ years of managerial experience OR advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant quality experience with 5+ years of managerial experience

Nice to Have

  • 5-10 years of Quality experience, with increasing responsibility in a Quality function or similar.
  • Experience transforming and improving Quality processes, systems and culture with a demonstrated track record of process and productivity improvement and successful results with developing and implementing change initiatives.
  • Experience in medical industry.
  • Lean Sigma or DRM knowledge.
  • Advance knowledge of various QS regulation, FDA, EUMDR, MDSAP etc.
  • CAPA and NCR experience
  • Calibration/Metrology training experience

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location.
