Be available for call out duty and response to pipeline emergencies
Provide support for field technicians as needed (pigging, line maker maintenance etc.)
Fill in or assist with field operations and maintenance on purges, drain ups and anomaly digs
Perform valve inspections and other DOT tasks and reports
Provide any necessary assistance to construction and inspection personnel
Plan and perform all assignments in a safe manner
Attend safety meetings and work safely
MINIMUM ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum 2-3 years of pipeline related experience
High School Diploma or equivalent
Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license to include a safe driving record satisfactory to the company
Interpersonal communication skills are required in order to interface with all affected teams, personnel, and vendors
Strong work ethic with demonstrated ability to effectively work with minimum supervision
Solid computer skills to include Microsoft Office Software
Ability to work overtime, weekends, holidays, with the ability to respond to call outs as needed to fulfill business objective and the ability to work shifts for plant or field conditions
Ability to lift, push, and pull at least a minimum of 50lbs
Ability to work in changing climate conditions
Able to work in close quarters: i.e., work while kneeling, squatting, sitting, climbing, and standing
Follow and adhere to all applicable Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) guidelines (ex: eye protection, footwear, Nomex)
Regular and Reliable Attendance
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidate should possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in the pipeline industry including compressor stations, and associated pipeline facilities
Working knowledge of pipeline codes and industry standards
Ability to read and understand technical documents such as Process and Instrument Diagrams, Process Flow Diagrams, alignment sheets
Familiarity with Process Safety Management Facilities; Management of Change Process; Environmental, Health, and Safety and OSHA Guidelines and Practices
Experience with pipeline operations
Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills
Effective organization, time-management and project planning skills
