Hiawatha Broadband Communications is seeking a Senior Marketing Manager!  As the Senior Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our overall marketing strategy. This person will manage the branding and marketing of our products and services by developing and implementing campaigns with strong emphasis on social media and creative process.  This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of market trends, consumer behavior, and a proven track record of successful marketing campaigns.  

Job Type: Full-time

Rate: $95,000-$110,000/year

Location: Office in Winona, MN

Primary Responsibilities Include:

• Participate in the creation and implementation of marketing and advertising campaigns.


• Manage day-to-day cross channel marketing agenda.


• Manage promotional and direct mail materials by coordinating requirements with graphic artist; manage inventory; place orders; verify receipt.


• Manage, update and initiate new media marketing efforts such as email marketing, social media, mobile, etc.


• Research competitive products by identifying and evaluating product characteristics, pricing, and advertising.


• Prepare and execute strategic plans


• Handle all department financial responsibilities and relationship to company P&L


• Manage day-to-day newspaper/print advertising agenda.


• Develop and prepare marketing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data by product lines and sales channels.


• Plan, prepare, and represent the company at various community events and shows by identifying, assembling, and coordinating requirements.


• Manage organization and implementation of market research, including surveys, focus groups, etc.

The successful Senior Marketing Manager has:

• Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or another related field


• 5 years of marketing experience


• Experience managing and supervising others


• Experience in the cable/broadband industry is preferred


• Valid driver's license


• Advanced content and creative editing experience


• Excellent sales and writing ability 


• Proficient in Microsoft Office


• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to coach others


• Ability to multi-task efficiently and meet deadlines
