Supply Chain Specialist, First Shift, Materials Distribution Department

UC Health is hiring a full-time Supply Chain Specialist for the Materials Distribution department for the first shift at West Chester Hospital.

The Supply Chain Specialist will support West Chester Hospital's emergency room (ER) and Level III Trauma Center, delivering high-quality care to patients based on assessed needs, established standards of care and according to policy and procedures.

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • One year of store room experience. Basic computer skills and knowledge of medical supplies.
  • Add and subtract whole numbers. To be able to read, write, and listen in order to communicate.

  • To assist the manager in leading our team in supporting our customers.
  • To supply the hospital with equipment and carts. By using the PAR Excellence's computer for tracking equipment, and the TUG for delivery of supplies.
  • To collect used soiled equipment and carts from all hospital departments.
  • To fill request from the nursing floors for supplies.
  • To decontaminate all collected equipment and carts.
  • To restock all carts and make up new kits.
  • To complete requisitions for just-in-time supplies for our department.
  • To perform all the other tasks assigned by management.
