What you will do:
This Position will collaborate with internal Emerging Technology stakeholders and cross functional teams at individual contributor and manager levels to identify opportunities and document processes and dataflows for software development projects. This person will conduct discovery sessions with users and stakeholders, document requirements, test, and provide feedback to developers.
In order to complete these tasks, the candidate will need to have the following skillset:
Software development with waterfall and agile lifecycle management processes
Query databases using SQL for reporting, research, and supporting business needs.
Smartsheet and PowerBI knowledge for reporting and internal Analytics
Functional specification writing

What you will need:
Applications Analyst I:
Associate degree in Business, Statistics, Analytics, Physical Sciences, Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS, or related field (Bachelor's Degree preferred)
2-3 years relative experience in Data Analytics, Business, Technology, or MIS area
Applications Analyst II:
BS Degree in Business, Statistics, Analytics, Accounting, Finance, Physical Sciences, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (Master's Degree preferred)
3-5+ years relative experience in Data Analytics, Accounting, Finance, Technology, or MIS area
SQL experience preferred
Skills, Experience & Abilities
Excellent written and oral communication skills, ability to convey analytics results and concepts to the business required.
Strong PC skills.
Intermediate level Excel required.
Excellent problem solving/analytical and Mathematical skills
Software Project management skills with waterfall and agile lifecycle management processes.
Experience with query databases using SQL for reporting, research, and supporting business needs.
Smartsheet and PowerBI knowledge for reporting and internal Analytics
